Reingold Internship Program
A Reingold intern has high standards and a fearless mindset. Our interns are energetic, innovative, take initiative, and demonstrate professionalism in everything they do. This internship program is your opportunity to discover what it really means to work for a full-service communications agency. You’ll learn the ins and outs of your department, work as a valued member of project teams, and collaborate with experts in various departments. Reingold offers you opportunities to tailor the internship experience to your interests and strengths — all while working on causes that really matter.
Internships are full-time and in person (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 4, and runs through Friday, November 20, 2026. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia.
What It Means to Graphic Design Intern
As a graphic design intern at Reingold, you might design a logo one day, create a brochure the next, and finish the week helping develop an entirely new brand. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, along with a curious mindset and eagerness to explore a wide range of marketing experiences, is essential
Intern responsibilities may include:
- Designing print materials, including fact sheets, brochures, and reports.
- Developing client brand identities, logos, and other branding elements.
- Retouching and manipulating photos.
- Creating illustrations.
- Supporting our video department enhancing motion graphics.
- Nerding out over movies and pop culture.
- Performing other tasks depending on your skills and our needs.

A Reingold intern must:
- Possess an associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, marketing or communications.
- Competency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to receive and incorporate peer feedback.
- Curious, creative nature.
