About Reingold
Reingold is a full-service marketing and creative firm in Alexandria, VA. For more than 40 years, we’ve been driven by a simple mission: to help organizations –– whether in the government, nonprofit, or business sector –– as they strive to make the world a better place. We hire top-notch talent to develop and launch compelling, inventive communications campaigns, leveraging the latest technology and digital media strategies that enable our clients to meet their audiences where they are.
We’re proud to say we’ve built a team of curious, passionate pros — from marketers and tech wizards to designers and strategists — who love what they do and bring their A-game every day. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We believe great ideas come from collaboration, humor, and a little bit of fun along the way.
When you work at Reingold, you get more than a job, you get a community. We offer competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, a dynamic hybrid work environment, a vibrant workplace and growth opportunities in a variety of specialty areas. That means when we find great people (and they find us), they stick around for the long term.
That's where you come in. We’re looking for a digital engagement associate to join our Digital Project Management (DPM) team. In this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day coordination of digital projects and campaigns for a mix of government, nonprofit, and association clients, gathering requirements, building and maintaining roadmaps, tracking budgets and timelines, and keeping internal teams and clients aligned. You’ll also build working knowledge of digital marketing execution (paid media, email, SEO) so you can speak fluently to what your teams are producing, QA the work before it reaches the client, and eventually help shape channel strategy.
This is a Level 3 (L3) role on our DPM career ladder: you’re independent in managing established workstreams end to end, comfortable juggling several client accounts at once, and beginning to take ownership of client relationships, while still building toward full specialization.
This is a hybrid role. If you’re local to our Raleigh, North Carolina office, you’ll be required to come in one day a week. If you are local to our headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, you will be required to come in two days a week.
Here’s the work you’ll do:
Essential Functions:
Project & Product Coordination
- Gather and document client requirements, objectives, and goals for digital experience and marketing engagements.
- Support Discovery workstreams and lead Story Mapping / Experience Canvas activities; help set up definition workshops.
- Prioritize product and campaign launches, identify milestones, and create and maintain roadmaps in Confluence and epics in Jira.
- Manage day-to-day budgeting, task assignments, and communication between internal teams and clients for assigned accounts.
- Monitor product and campaign KPIs, build and interpret Jira and analytics dashboards, and collaborate with Content Strategy, UX, and Analytics teams to keep messaging and brand consistent across deliverables.
- Identify and help remove roadblocks, internally, with clients, and with third-party vendors, before they put a timeline or budget at risk.
- Guide interdisciplinary teams on Agile and Kanban practices; participate in client calls, take accurate notes, and follow through on action items without needing a reminder.
- Track billable time accurately across multiple client accounts and consistently hit deadlines in a fast-moving agency environment.
- Support the planning, execution, and QA of paid media, email marketing, and SEO campaigns, including budget pacing, list segmentation, and rendering/link/UTM checks.
- Run and document A/B tests across paid and email, such as subject lines, send times, ad copy, creative, and landing pages, so the next campaign starts smarter.
- Track rankings, traffic, and overall channel performance; help investigate movement and translate results into recommendations for clients.
- Integrate AI into the daily workflow where appropriate, to streamline processes and strengthen insights.
This role is a good fit for someone with these qualifications, experience and skills:
Required Qualifications:
- General client-facing professional experience (agency, in-house, consulting, or a comparable setting), with no requirement to have specialized in a single marketing channel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and client accounts at once.
- Ability to work with clients to gather and document project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- A genuine interest in digital engagement and digital project management, with curiosity about how paid media, email, SEO, and content work together.
- Openness to, and excitement about, working in an AI-forward environment, comfortable using AI tools day to day and eager to keep learning new ones.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable taking initiative, proposing new approaches, and figuring things out without a fixed playbook.
- Curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive to succeed, even as priorities shift.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, both with clients and internal teams, and the ability to explain a technical concept to someone who doesn’t work in marketing.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a similar field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with Agile and Kanban practices at an agency, product company, or software development shop.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and collaborative tools such as Miro or Figjam.
- Hands-on experience running or supporting live campaigns in one or more focus areas, such as paid media, email marketing, or SEO.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including how to build a campaign, not just read a report about one.
- Familiarity with GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Comfort with spreadsheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and turning messy exports into a clean report.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Blueprint, or HubSpot.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
- Hands-on GEO/AEO experience: implementing structured data, building answer-shaped or entity-rich content, prompt-set testing, or citation tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or AI Overviews.
- Experience supporting projects for state or local government agencies or organizations in highly regulated industries; ability to obtain a security clearance.
Work environment and physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel: Occasional travel to client sites may be required on an as-needed basis.
