About Reingold

Reingold is a full-service marketing and creative firm in Alexandria, VA. For more than 40 years, we’ve been driven by a simple mission: to help organizations –– whether in the government, nonprofit, or business sector –– as they strive to make the world a better place. We hire top-notch talent to develop and launch compelling, inventive communications campaigns, leveraging the latest technology and digital media strategies that enable our clients to meet their audiences where they are.

CX Data Analyst Internship

As a CX Data Analyst intern, you'll be an integral part of our Digital Experience team, working at the intersection of data, content strategy, and user experience. You’ll analyze website data and collaborate closely with both our content strategists and UX designers to ensure insights are seamlessly woven into our digital experiences. We’re looking for someone excited to bridge the gap between quantitative and qualitative research—someone who’s as comfortable drawing conclusions from numbers as they are contextualizing user feedback.

At Reingold, we’re looking for our next rising analyst to help us uncover the stories hidden in our customer data. Our interns tackle real-world challenges and help us turn numbers into insights that drive better experiences for our clients.

Candidates who are early in their careers or seeking full-time employment are encouraged to apply.

Internships are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, January 8, and runs through Friday, May 22. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia.

Intern responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with website data collection, cleaning, and organization to support customer experience initiatives.
  • Creating data visualizations, dashboards, and presentation materials to share insights with internal teams or clients.
  • Helping to design and evaluate experiments or A/B tests to drive measurable improvements in CX.
  • Conducting research on best practices in customer experience measurement and analytics.
  • Translating data findings into actionable recommendations in clear, logical language.
  • Participating in internal reviews and collaborative brainstorming sessions.
  • Performing ad hoc analytical tasks based on your skills and Reingold’s needs.
  • The ideal candidate will balance a technical skillset with the writing, design, and storytelling skills needed to help stakeholders quickly see what’s happening, why it matters, and what to do next.
We encourage go-getters and value interns who take initiative in shaping their Reingold experience!

Required qualifications:
  • Coursework or formal training in data analysis, statistics, social science, business, or another analytical field.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) or data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to explain data concepts to non-experts.
  • Excited to learn new things and tackle open-ended questions.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Curious, logical, and analytical mindset.
Bonus points for experience with:
  • Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, etc.).
  • Coding or scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Customer experience metrics (NPS, CSAT, etc.) or CRM systems.
If selected for an interview, you’ll be assigned a short CX case study to analyze and present to our team. This is your chance to show off your problem-solving skills and how you approach data-driven decisions.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
