Reingold is hiring a mid-level professional to help manage and contribute to data projects in the areas of business intelligence and survey research. You will be supporting a portfolio of evaluation projects for health-focused government and nonprofit clients, helping a diverse team build strategies and tools for measuring the success of client programs.

This is a hybrid role, requiring two days on-site at Reingold’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

Job duties:

  • Help project leaders develop and present strategies to client executives for running successful research and data projects.
  • Provide a business-side perspective when guiding Microsoft Power Platform developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Analyze and synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations, and frequently deliver presentations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Advise colleagues on best practices in survey design, data reporting, and client engagement.
  • Develop and advise others on surveys, reports, data visualizations, and documentation materials, including the solicitation and incorporation of internal and external feedback.
  • Cultivate trusting relationships with clients, and continually advocate for their strategic goals throughout the project life cycle.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to gather and clarify all business and technical requirements for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support the team in automating processes to streamline reporting and enhance productivity, using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Uphold industry standards for data quality and integrity.
  • Support project leaders with staffing, strategy, and prioritization decisions.
  • Manage and support multiple evaluation projects simultaneously.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a research-oriented social science.
  • At least five years of experience, including in account management, consulting, or similar customer service roles.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience with research methodologies, especially survey design and focus groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including nested formulas, pivot tables, and dual-axis graphs.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, especially formatting graphs and tables.
  • Experience coordinating teams and reviewing others’ work for accuracy and strength.
  • Critical thinking skills, with a mindset for both the big picture and the small details.
  • Strong organizational skills and a reputation for being detail oriented.
  • Exceptional writing and speaking skills.
  • Innate desire for continual performance improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision.
  • Aptitude and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.

Bonus points for:

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power BI, Apps, Automate, or Pages.
  • Experience working with government clients.
  • Experience with task tracking tools, such as Monday.com, Trello, Jira, or Asana.
  • Credentials or coursework related to project management (e.g., PMP).
  • An interest in education, health care, or military or veteran communities.
