Reingold’s Internship Program

This internship program is your opportunity to discover what it really means to work for a full-service communications agency. You’ll learn the ins and outs of your department, work as a valued member of project teams, and collaborate with experts in various departments. Reingold offers you opportunities to tailor the internship experience to your interests and strengths — all while working on causes that really matter.

Internships at Reingold are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and runs through Friday, November 20, 2026. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Research, catalogue, and validate project expenses.
  • Assist the project team with travel regulations and policies.
  • Design and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure quality control for deliverables.
  • Collaborate on process improvements across workstream teams and departments.
  • Assist the project team with various financial project management tasks.
  • Develop financial management tools.
  • Support project reporting efforts.

A Reingold Intern Must
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and graphs.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work independently and efficiently.
  • Critical thinking skills, with a mindset for both the big picture and the small details.
  • Strong organizational skills, including a reputation for being extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus points for:
  • Understanding of federal travel regulations (FTRs) and per diem.
  • Experience with Monday.com.
  • Experience reviewing invoices and receipts.
  • An interest in government contracting and compliance.
