What It Means to Be a Reingold AI Solutions Intern

Are you excited by the challenge of turning cutting-edge AI technology into real, working solutions? Do you love experimenting with models, building prototypes, and finding creative ways to use AI to solve real-world problems? If so, Reingold may be the place for you!

As an AI Solutions Intern, you’ll help identify, build, and implement AI-driven tools and automations that enhance how Reingold operates and delivers for clients. You’ll explore use cases across data analysis, natural language processing, automation, and content generation — and you’ll bring them to life through rapid prototyping and hands-on development.

Intern responsibilities may include:
  • Researching and identifying internal and client-facing opportunities for AI integration.
  • Designing and prototyping AI-powered tools using Python and libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or OpenAI APIs.
  • Fine-tuning or customizing existing models for specific business or content needs.
  • Developing and documenting scripts, workflows, and proof-of-concept applications.
  • Evaluating model performance and recommending improvements based on experimentation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to demonstrate and implement your AI solutions.
  • Staying up to date with emerging frameworks, APIs, and techniques in the AI ecosystem.
  • Performing ad hoc technical tasks based on your skills and our evolving needs.
We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
  • Formal training in computer science, data science, machine learning, or a related field through a college program or immersive training.
  • Strong Python programming skills, including experience with libraries like pandas, numpy, and transformers.
  • Familiarity with building or integrating AI/ML models (e.g., using OpenAI API, Hugging Face, LangChain, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
  • Understanding of basic NLP concepts such as tokenization, embeddings, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and independently implement prototypes.
  • Ability to work independently with some oversight.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills — comfortable explaining technical work to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a hands-on, experimental mindset.
Bonus points for experience with:
  • Experience deploying small applications or tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or serverless AI services.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and evaluating generative model performance.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Zapier, Make, or API-based integrations).

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
